Embarrassing moments….. are they really embarrassing?

The moment in which you are caught up in an awkward situation may be called an embarrassing moment. One noteworthy thing is that, if no one is there to observe it other than the person undergoing it then to an extent it might not be so much of an annoying kind of a situation. Anyway I am not going to boast on what is embarrassing moment and how we can avoid it since I for myself have so much such moments in my kitty that I could easily write a book on it.
The one known fact about this kind of moments is that it is experienced by every person born in this world. From king to slave, poor to rich, intelligent to fool, powerful to ordinary man….. no one is spared by these moments.
During my graduation days me and my finest buddies namely Laiju Abraham and Sudhir Vijayan used to talk about our personnel embarrassing moments and would have a hearty laugh. At that very point it clicked to me that all embarrassing moments creates laughter to some person or the other. Basically these are the moments that in future when we recollect brings grins in our face. These are the moments when shared creates an ambiance of smiling faces. Now you might have a question on your mind that how come I am writing this now when I got the thought half a decade before. The reason is that I had created the blog just lately!!... Sorry for the bad jest. The actual reason is that I saw a bollywood movie ”Straight” just recently in which it had shown that you can do standup comedy by just sharing the embarrassing moments you have undergone. After watching that movie I came to conclusion that my thoughts are thus justified. So whenever you have gone through such situation, make up your mind and think that this will be one of your memorable moment and when recalled will bring smile in your face or this when shared with your loved ones will bring smile in their face, this thought might bring some relief to you. This is what I feel. A thought can change your life, so enjoy every such moment with a smile.

As said earlier there are many such moments in my life and I would like to throw some light on one such moment. One evening at about 6:00 PM in kurla station I and my friend were waiting on the 6th platform for Panvel local. It was the peak hour with full on crowd. There were people jumping from platform to platform through the railway lines to change the trains. There were people who not even have a look before crossing the railway lines. I have a habit that, if I saw any train coming I would alert the people crossing that railway line(I got this habit after I had seen a accident in front of my eye in which a train had crushed a person who was crossing the line). Now the situation was that I was in the 6th platform facing the 5th platform and there were 2 railway lines between the two platforms. I saw the train for the 5th platform was coming and the very moment a person from the 4th platform was rushing towards the 5th and had almost reached the end of the platform, I had interpreted that he might jump and come across to the 6th platform, I started shouting “don’t jump train is coming”. Every eye there was on me, my friend was wonder struck by my reaction and to my misfortune the person who was rushing had just come to the end of the platform to spit.
So now if u have a smile in your face then my point is proven or else…

Rhymes for my dearest siblings....

The rhymes may not be as good as they really are but still tried to mention something about them:

Eldest one:

Reading and writing is her most preferred skill
A person without patience do not fit her bill.
Pet animals are the ones which she hate
The people with sincerity is always her mate
She always do whatever she feels right
And also can stand its consequence upright
According to her friends she is very hearty
And the only one she fears is the almighty
I always remember her in month ends
That’s the time I need money I pretend
She is a gal who likes to be punctual
A rare quality any gal has in actual
Being friendly to everyone is her etiquette
And ethics for her is the most valuable trait
With this attitude she can reach the height of fame
She is my sister, SEEMA SIVADAS is her name

Elder one:

The gal who i have been so close from long,
Is the one whose parents i too belong.
The way she can read my mind,
No one in the world can do in same kind.
She is always there with her friends in distress,
And her hobby is to collect diff kinds of dress.
Our relation has reached a diff height,
So what we always have a regular fight.
Teacher by profession, pure by essence,
She can control any class with her mere presence.
Her strength comprise values and ethics
For such a gal there is no suffix.
The degree she carries is MA in history,
And for most of her friends she is a mystery.
The gal whose heart is as clear as the clearest glass,
Is none other than my sister SMITHA SIVADAS

Nick name

Nick name for everyone may be the one which has importance only after the original name, but for me it has always been vice versa. Precisely saying till date I have always been known by my nick names. The number of nick names I have got since my childhood is quite large in number. If you ever give a thought on who has nick names and about who has the most number of these, then you will get a clear picture that all famous people are the ones who are privileged by these. Let’s take examples such kareena known as bebo, Sharukh khan as king khan, amitabh bachan as big b, sachin tendulkar as little master and so on so forth. Now don’t misinterpret that I am also a famous person, since the reason behind my nick name is simple, because all my friends are creative. The first nick name I got from my friend was ‘Mahajan’, the reason behind this name was in some famous serial there was a character known as Maneesh Mahajan. The next was thampi, this name was because I was the only south Indian in my friends group. In school I was known as 2 by 2, this was because I was very short in height. Next in the list of names was muthu swamy, I am still being known by this name. The list never ends here, there are many more funny names and the reasons behind them are much funnier. At first I use to get irritated or more exactly saying I used to get agitated by these names. But now most probably I don’t have the similar reaction. Since if you think on a positive verge people irritate other people only if they like them. So that’s what I feel and so am fortunate to have such a huge number of nick names.

Disclaimer: The names mentioned are a decade old and so has no validity today
