Achievement

Achievement means different to different people, it basically depends on how we perceive. Many relate it to gains in monetary aspects, relationships, positions etc. So what’s your perception on achievement which when attained will make you happy at the end of the day?
Let me pen down my thoughts on this, many may feel it as bizarre but I can’t stop it since it’s my thought. It all came to my mind when I was in class IX when a sudden demise of my super senior and my neighbor Mr. Raji had occurred. He was a true extrovert, friendly and a very funny person. I had gone to his funeral and a huge chunk of people were present. It was a surprise for me since I had never seen so much crowd during any funeral and it consisted of just his friends. I also had a feeling that he didn’t live his life fully and had died at a early age of 21 but after some calculations in my mind I had a notion that he had achieved what many people doesn’t, after living for years and that’s goodwill. He was so popular among his friend and each and every person present there was missing him. This is what I believe is an achievement. After that I always feel that my funeral(may be after 100 years) should have the similar ambience and no one should curse me for anything.

Ethics

People who are far or who are near,
Its for everyone to give an ear and hear.
From fame, power or any magical sticks,
Nothing can be ranked over ethics.

Be it in love or in any relationship,
Or may just be a feeling of friendship.
Its true and always will be the basics,
Everything needs a little bit of ethics.

May be a small work or a large one,
To complete it with integrity and fun.
It does require intellect and some tricks,
But above all, this too requires ethics.

To be in the top and be like a king,
It does need luck and some thinking.
But to rightly place the success bricks,
There should be a base called ethics.

You may be in any part of the earth,
You may have everything with no dearth.
But for being happy there are no tactics,
Than to follow the path of ethics.
